I was the Director of Photography for a short film with Todd Braley called Silence. He’s posted a blog about the movie here.
It was enjoyable to see the people involved work together. We had a great crew (which made life SOOO much easier than other shoots) that handled the audio, tech, lighting moves, and general needs over the few days we shot.
The footage of the Canon 5d mark II can be difficult to work with if you don’t have experience with it, so Todd ran into a few things I had to help out with. Luckily it was a great learning experience for me to learn proxy editing (which I’ve been lazy and had not learned until this came up). I know that will be helpful in the future.
Thanks Todd and crew for a great experience with the shoot!
