As filmmakers, general cleanliness of our camera gear is important to us. But every once in a while, an awesomely messy opportunity pops up and you find yourself throwing cleanliness to the wind.

Our shoot with Carface was one such occasion.

MODE is a brilliant composer and a frequent collaborator of Hoptocopter™ Films', having scored dozens of our films. Recently, he started a new band called Carface and asked us to give him a hand in filming it. MODE directed, and we helped out with cameras and lighting and such. The shoot left us creatively inspired--and covered, from our gear to our team, in pink dust.

Considering the end result: worth it!
